Throughout the course of this mindful journey, we've explored numerous practices and strategies for cultivating calm, resilience, and living a less reactive and more intentional life.
No matter how hard we try, we simply cannot control our external circumstances. But what we do have control over – through the power of presence + awareness – is our ability to respond flexibly in any moment. Rather than getting stuck in habit patterns that drain our sense of wellbeing, mindfulness helps us confidently and creatively take wise action – based on our inner wisdom, core values, and deepest intentions. ​
Mindfulness is not a quick fix or a panacea for all of life’s problems. As you continue on your journey, one of the most important factors that will lead to greater wellbeing and happiness is gentle persistence.
The practices this week will bring together the full Pause Method® that you've been training in since the start of this program. The more you practice, the more mindfulness will become a part of your life. Let awareness be your teacher – there's so very much to learn! Keep going. Be gentle with yourself. And trust your inner wisdom and resilience – what you need is already here.
Take 10-15 minutes once per month to fill out the RESILIENCE GAME PLAN worksheet. Then, make it habit daily to read through the worksheet to tap into what matters most for you and refresh your intentions.
